Business Financing Control

One operating view for MCAs, loans, and daily cash-flow pressure

FundingTracker is business financing tracking software for merchants, brokers, and advisors who need an independent record of merchant cash advances, term loans, lines of credit, payment schedules, contract documents, and payoff timelines. Instead of checking funder portals one at a time, teams can keep expected debits, actual bank activity, remaining balances, and renewal readiness in one place.

The platform is especially useful when a business has stacked funding or multiple repayment cadences. A merchant can compare daily ACH exposure, see which advance is closest to payoff, document missed or duplicate debits, and prepare cleaner records for accountants, brokers, funders, and consolidation discussions.

For planning before a new offer is signed, use the MCA calculator to estimate factor-rate cost, APR, daily payment impact, and payoff timing. For active positions, the MCA tracker explains how to monitor daily ACH, remaining RTR, payoff timing, and stacked advances. For education and comparison, the MCA guides explain common contract terms, and the funder directory helps teams keep provider context organized.

FundingTracker is not a lender and does not replace formal payoff letters from funders. It gives operators a practical tracking layer for the numbers that matter every week: total payback, amount paid, remaining balance, payment frequency, expected debit amount, renewal thresholds, documents, notes, and exception history.

Because each record is tied back to a contract and payment schedule, the tracker can support day-to-day cash management as well as longer planning cycles. A merchant can monitor active obligations before payroll, a broker can review whether a renewal conversation is realistic, and an advisor can compare tracked balances against bank activity before requesting updated payoff letters.

Over time, that structure creates a cleaner financing history. If a funder changes a debit, a payment posts late, or a payoff quote does not match tracked payments, the team can review original terms, bank evidence, notes, exported history, and open exceptions without rebuilding the story from scratch.

MCA tracking
Follow purchased amount, RTR, factor rate, daily or weekly debit, paid-to-date, and estimated payoff timing.
Payment review
Compare expected debits with connected bank transactions so duplicate, missing, or unusual withdrawals are easier to spot.
Document control
Keep contracts, payoff quote requests, notes, disputes, and exported payment history close to the deal they belong to.
Cash-flow planning
Understand how stacked advances, loans, and credit lines affect tomorrow's balance before taking on new financing.

Trust & caution

Straight answers before you connect data

Clear, crawlable answers to the contract, bank data, payoff, and exception-tracking questions merchants ask before trusting a tracker.

Do you connect through Plaid, Finicity, MX, or another bank-data provider?

FundingTracker connects bank data through Stripe Financial Connections, not Plaid, Finicity, or MX. The bank-link flow is handled by Stripe, and FundingTracker receives read-only transaction data for matching debits to deals. FundingTracker does not store bank login credentials and cannot move money from the connected account.

  • Provider: Stripe Financial Connections
  • Access type: read-only transaction data
  • Use: match funding debits, payment history, and cash-flow signals

Can I delete my uploaded contracts and bank data permanently?

You can delete uploaded documents, disconnect bank access, and close your account from supported app controls. Closing an account removes FundingTracker app records such as deals, payments, bank connections, bank transactions, documents, disputes, reports, and settings. Provider-side retention, backups, and formal data-erasure confirmations may still follow Stripe, Supabase, and support-process policies.

  • Disconnecting a bank revokes ongoing app access to that connection.
  • Uploaded document deletion removes the app record and supported stored file object.
  • Use account closure or support for full-account deletion requests.

Is my contract data used to train AI models?

No. FundingTracker does not use uploaded contracts to train FundingTracker AI models. Contract parsing is an extraction workflow, not a model-training workflow. The app sends relevant contract content to the configured AI provider for inference, stores structured deal fields, logs usage metadata, and stores redacted text when a readable text layer is available.

  • No fine-tuning or model-training job is present in the product flow.
  • Text-layer PDFs are PII-redacted before the text-first parse path.
  • Scanned PDFs may be processed by the configured AI provider for extraction.

Do you provide exports of payment history and payoff calculations?

Yes. FundingTracker provides CSV/PDF-style reporting for payment history, deal balances, and payoff-request workflows. The app includes payment-history CSV export, active-deal and accountant reports with remaining balances, and payoff quote request PDFs that include tracked payments and current calculated remaining balance. These exports are operational records, not a lender-issued payoff letter.

  • Payment history can be filtered and exported to CSV.
  • Active deal and accountant reports include paid, remaining, and progress fields.
  • Payoff quote request PDFs help document the current tracker estimate.

How do you calculate remaining balance: fixed purchase amount minus remittances, or something else?

The core remaining-balance calculation is fixed total payback or purchased amount minus tracked remittances. FundingTracker calculates remaining balance as total_payback_amount minus amount_paid, floored at zero. Payoff dates are projected from the remaining balance, payment amount, and payment cadence. Funder payoff letters, unpaid fees, NSF charges, legal costs, negotiated discounts, or renewal/buyout terms can make the formal payoff amount different from the tracker estimate.

  • Formula: remaining balance = total payback - tracked payments.
  • Projection: remaining balance divided by expected payment cadence.
  • Source of truth for refinancing or settlement: current funder payoff letter.

Can it flag over-debits, missed postings, NSF fees, and renewal payoff discrepancies?

It can flag common repayment exceptions, with the strongest automation around over-debits, missed postings, extra debits, and renewal/payoff review points. FundingTracker compares actual debits and recorded payments against expected deal terms, surfaces transactions that need review, logs disputes, tracks renewal readiness, and supports payoff quote documentation. NSF fees and renewal payoff discrepancies can be reconciled when they appear in bank data, notes, disputes, or payoff documents; they should not be treated as a guaranteed standalone detector unless those source records are present.

  • Fixed-payment over-debit alerting uses expected amount variance.
  • Missed-payment and unlinked-transaction checks surface posting gaps.
  • Disputes, payoff quote requests, and renewal tracking keep exceptions auditable.

FundingTracker is an operational tracking system. Current funder payoff letters, bank/provider records, and written funder terms remain the source of truth for refinancing, settlement, disputes, and formal data-erasure requirements.
